Dogs in Japan
Dog in Japan vol.1

I have never seen a country where dogs are loved so much as they are in Japan. There are many reasons why Japan is such an intriguing and inviting country, but one thing that I really enjoy is their infinite love for the cute pup.
Here there exists the dog cafeL and shoe shop, the dog for hire shop and collapsible dog baby carriage. There are endless numbers of ways of which dogs are treated so goodly, but why? My fascination of this unconditional love led me to research!

Dogs are cute and everybody loves things cute and cuddly. They are the rage in Japan and because of their affectionate good looks they are a fashion.
It doesn't matter if they are big and clothed, or small with their nails done; if you are with your pooch you are cool. They are a status symbol because of Japans tight economy and small housing. If you don't own one, hire one!

In Japan dogs also receive respect because history has seen them as creatures with dignity, spirit, obedience, loyalty and bravery, and as beings that posses calm and considerate temperaments. This long lasting history makes dogs great companions.
People in Japan need companions. In such a busy and impersonal place dogs often fill the hole of a loving friend. In families dogs often become the new baby when children move out or grow older, and to their happiness, they are eternally spoiled.

Single owners are often lonely and stressed, so living with another satisfies their emotional needs. Dogs are also used by their single owners to meet partners by taking their dogs for walks at parks! Hoping their cute friend will reel in a good bite.

Now that we know some of the reasons why dogs are loved, how are they loved? cI have seen dogs: Clothed, trained as actors and models, shoed, having their own bank accounts, fed fancy course meals, eating at dinner tables, Dog CafeLs (dogs drinking puppychinos!),
having their bottoms wiped and feces picked up after them, Dog salons (furcuts?), Dog babysitters, having pedicures and manicures, pushed around in baby carriages, Dogs for hire shops and at dog school.

In my next life I want to be born a dog in Japan.
