Nippon Australian Football League Come and play international Australian Football
We are the only non-race based league in Japan. Backed by the AFL. We are linked with the Japan Gaelic Athletic Association. Last year we took our national team to Canada. This year our National team will travel to Melbourne Australia. Regardless of your race you will be eligible to represent Japan at this event. In January 2009 the Nippon Australian Football League (NAFL) will be hosting the firs truly international Australian Football event in Japan with the Templestowe Dockers from Melbourne, the Japan GAA, the Seoul GAA, the NAFL, a team from Dubai and two other countries looking into joining. You can be part of it. See www.nafl.jp for more info or call 090-4299-2202 |

Re: Nippon Australian Football League Hi Guys and Gals
Just reminding everyone of this week's fixture. Nippon Australian Foolball League (NAFL) team Nippon Tsunami Versus the Kansai Gaelic Athletic Association (KGAA) in round 2 the final round round of the Kansai International Cup of Kinship (KICK Cup). The teams will be playing for the Coolabah/ Blarney Stone Cup. The Tsunami has to win by 12 points or more to secure the series. anything less than an 11 point win will see the KGAA take out the series even if they lose the Coolabah/Blarney Stone Cup as they would have secured a greater points aggregate. Meet at Tenjimbashisuji 6 Chome station Exit 11 at 1:30pm. Game starts at 3:00pm Also please check out the home page. Steve Bascomb has updated to Archives stories. We've also now become affiliated with the Dubai Dingoes. There is a link to them up there now. Also check out the video below on Youtube. It shows me being interviewed in Canada and also check out the first 10 seconds of the women's game between Canada and the USA where Kaori Ueda lays a great tackle on one of the American women. Great Stuff Kaori!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOywG9NGJxc Cheers Andy |

Re: Australian football in Tokyo. Sorry for the person who is using this site to promote falsities.
In Tokyo there are 4 university teams that only Japanese teams and only one gaijin team. The person who wrote the previous commercial is an Englishman with hidden agendas and no idea about the game. So if you are looking for people who know the game join an NAFL team. |

Re: New AFL HOMEPAGE ARTICLE! Easy to explain my comments
All the posts put on this site by the so called JAFL are done by an Englishman call Stuart MacLean. Mr. MacLean has no real background in Australian Football other than a few years in the low levels of Japan football. My own credentials are as follows. 35 years in the game as a player, coach and adminstrator. Coaches such as Barrie Robran, Paul Weston, Glen Elliot, Jeff Sarau, Daryl Schimelbusch, Malcolm Blight and Danny Harrington. All played at the highest level and with distinction. I have the support of a multiple of other AFL organisations across the globe. Genki Tanaka, Michito and a few others have had limited experience in the game. The whole Essendon exercise was a publicity stunt by Essendon to garnersupport. The fact is that players like Michito and Tanaka struggled to make it at the lowest levels in Australian football. I've stood both these players in my 40's and beaten them easily. So they are not up to standard and will only do so by getting proper coaching which exists only in the NAFL. The only one damaging football is a certain Charisma Man Stuart Maclean who was given a life ban. The poor deluded guy thinks he is a football official and has spent the last three years venting his revenge on the NAFL for giving him a justified Life Ban. We are backed by the AFL. Quote by the AFL reps. "It is the NAFL that has the expertise to see the game develop in Japan, not the JAFL". Their words not ours. Mr. MacLean. You forget the fundamental rule of Australian Football. Cross the white line and your lies will find you out. You Mr. MacLean are a fraud and are only surviving because the Japanese know no better as to who knows the game. Now go away and leave football to those who actually know it and love it and stop using people as a tool for your pathetic revenge attempts. Here's another lesson. When you sign a notice have the balls to put your name to it rather than hiding behind the cover of "Osaka Dingoes" For those wishing to learn the game as it should be then contact the NAFL and see www.nafl.jp Yours most sincerely Andrew Carne (NAFL President) |
