Nice persons on Kyoto!? Hello!!
I'll go to Kyoto this summer (July). I already went last year (only for a few days) and did like that town. But I would appreciate it far more I think if I could see it with people from Kyoto. And I could see other things that "tourist" ones. So I'd like to meet people (and become friends, I hope ^^ ) from there and who'd be okay to spend a few time with me, showing to me things he/she likes, going out at night and so on... I now introduce myself: I'm a 23 years old french boy, I can speak a few japanese and english (I make tons of mistakes but usually I'm understood). I'll probably come with one or two friends. If you're a girl and /or shy : don't be afraid, we're very nice and of course respectful. Nothing to be afraid of!! ^^ Well, if you have any questions or if you're interested, please let me know! n_n |

Re: Nice persons on Kyoto!? Hey there,
Just try hostelbookers.com or just use a searchengine; you'll find tons of hostels and hostelbooking sites. I hope you do realise that in June there's lots of rain and July/August Kyoto and most of southern Japan is like a sauna with its very high humidity, so be prepared to sweat a lot! Kind regards, Jasper |

I also would like to know, is it possible to find "homestay" (I'm not sure of the word, I mean, living with a family)? If anyone knows good adress or is interested in it. Of course I can do it too if the person wants an exchange (and is interested in coming in France. n_n) |

Re: Nice persons on Kyoto!? Hi,KamiSeiTo.
I'm university student in Kyoto. I have gone to school in Kyoto for 6years. Recently,I study English. So,Ican't speak English fluently. I like summer in Kyoto. It's very very hot!! I ate a shaved ice in Kyoto with my friend. It's very good!! The shop is neer "Yasaka shrine". and, that name is "Gion Koishi". I recomend the road from "Kiyomizu temple"to"Yasaka shrine". I like there. I often go there. What do you want to do in Kyoto?? |
