I would say there are basically 3 types of girls that go out with gaijin.

A) The ones that want to "experience" a gaijin and tell their friends about how it was.

B) The girls that want to learn english. I think enough has been said about these girls. Whether they are users or not. You can decide.

C) The girls that have gone to other countries and have seen a culture outside of japanese society. These girls have changed their traditional thought and are more westernized. i repect these girls that have opened up their mind and they probably feel more comfortable with a gaijin than a japanese guy.

Anyways, as for girls that are B and C. They are usually the smarter girls when they were growing up. They had a natural interest in english because they were smart. You could say those girls aren't as pretty, but sometimes you get the occasional hot girl that is really smart.

As for girl A, she is probably not so bright and does things for image. She wants to go out and "experience" a (white) gaijin because she wants to know how they are sexually and also to be seen with a white guy. i say white guy becuase this one is image geared and not language/culture motivated. It is sad how stupid girls will not think an asian guy is a gaijin or not worth dating because she won't have the "experience". These are unfortunately the better looking of the 3 different types of girls because they do care about image.

I guess you can't have both brains and beauty and be single if you do then your already taken!!

Gaijin guys should be looking for the cute girl that did well in school that went to a different country. Only if there was enough to go around!!

My Japanese girlfriend is none of the above. She is not after the 'experience'. She is not so concerned about improving her English and she has never lived overseas. I believe she is attracted to me for my looks, personality and the fact that I'm male. Whether I'm Caucasian or Asian is not important.

I just thought it was worth noting that there are always exceptions to stereotypes.

The ones that speak English usually aren't very attractive. I see many Gaijin with ugly girlfriends.

What I have noticed is that gaijin guys are often clueless about how to blend in with their clothing style in Japan. Their gf might wear clothing to fit the occasion and her gaijin bf will wear leasure clothes like he would at home - totally not fitting the norm of clothing in Japan.

You could say the guy's bad at making his appearance work, that he's ugly and that she just wants to learn English. OR you could say she's attracted to the fact that he goes his own way and keeps his own style in a country where that's quite unusual.

Try to think a little bit longer, please. Makes the world so much more fun.

So why do you wanna go out with Japanese girls? Just because you are in Japan? Or, to you, Asian girls look more attractive? If so, why is that?
