I understand the reasoning, but I don't like it :P

Most women I see wearing make-up and jewelry basically make themselves look less pretty. Of course it's good to see a girl takes care of herself - well tended hair & nails, healthy skin, good condition, clean, fashionable and appropriate clothing - but there's also the matter of taste. If you look good but feel like you have to wear make-up & earrings etc because it's the norm, you're missing the point. Sometimes the norm is wrong and you look better if you deviate.

But that's my opinion of course ^^
