Yesterday I visited my friend who is hospitalized.
I felt relieved that she is fine now.
She said "My hubby is doing TANSHINFUNIN and I'm happy."
TANSHINFUNIN is a common practice in here, when a husband was transfered to a far away place, he lives by himself, leaving their family behind.
Also one of my girlfriend commented that she doesn't want to breath the same air with her husband although she got married by a love marriage not an arranged marriage. Though she added "I will not get divorce for children's sake."
The percentage of Japanese divorce rate isn't so high comparing with, say that of the States's.
The truth is we are just enduring.
Don't get me wrong, some couples are keeping lovey-dovey relationships.
I mean the Japanese low divorce rate doesn' always means that married couple's relationship is good.
Any comments?
