Heya! Nice meet to u.

Orsenna is the bizarre fruit of the most improbable encounter. And yet
rarely has music felt so straightforward when played by such
nihilistic quintet of bohemina young folks. When French songwriter and
occasional model Etienne Denoual met Web designer and hardcore punk
bassist Koji Okamoto in an electrorave event in Japan's cyberpunked
city Osaka, they felt an immediate urge to collaborate and let the
world know that they were up against it. Hastily recruiting the pair
of guitar obsessed Morry and keyboardist Aya Tamaki, with the late
draft of experimental drummer Utah Iijima, Orsenna entered the studio
and instantly recorded a handful of demos. Heavily melding punk rythms
with shoegaze influences and electrorock synth riffs, first demo
single Whatever/I'm fine defines the band's playful, consciously
multifaceted danceable sound. Orsenna is set to make its live debut at
legendary underground venue Namba Bears in March 2008, followed by a
string of venues across Japan.

Let's play with us!
