Hi,
I live in the states - Sedona, AZ - but am looking for people to collaborate with in the Osaka and Kyoto areas. I am learning Japanese and will be coming to Japan within 6 months to work on music with people I know in Tokyo.
I've been writing original music since I was 12 (I'm 37). I do song based electronic music - stuff more like Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Erasure, etc. I do club music also but am looking for people who want to do electronic music based on well written songs and with a singer (English or Japanese). I have a very unique style and my music has alot of strong melodies.
I also play guitar and write alot of music for that, ranging from ambient stuff (like the Cocteau Twins) to heavy stuff (like Killing Joke or Black Sabbath). My guitar style and writing are also unique.
In addition I am very into experimental raw industrial/ambient (like Einsturzende Neubauten).
I am looking for collaboration as well as friends. It can be other composers, programmers, bands, singers, conceptual performance artists - I am open to try almost anything.
I am friendly, laid back, easy going, and very easy to get along with.
