ケリー・ポリッザーは4歳にしてピアノを勉強し始まって、その後14年間でクラシッカルピアノを勉強しました。ある日にジャズコンサートを見に行った時、魅力を感じて、ジャズの達人Charlie Banacosの指導の下で勉強しました。彼のお陰で、彼女は作曲家として気にさせられた。1996年にピアノ協会（米）のジャズピアノコンテストの最終候補者なって、ニューヨークへ移住し、ブラジルの音楽に興味が生まれました。
今までリリースは4つ、”Yearning”(2001年),“Watercolor”(2002年)“Labyrinth”(2005) and “You Took Me In”(2007年)。アメリカの注目すべき公演はWave Hill, The Blue Note, Birdland, The Kitano Hotel, The Cutting Room（ニューヨーク), the Queen Elizabeth 2(有名客船), Columbus Jazz & Ribs Festival, Rockwood Music Hall, など。

A little Americana, a little country, a lot of rock and roll, maybe throw in some honky tonk for good measure and you have the Twang Dragons. Critics have called their music such things as a little bit country a little bit fire-breathin serpentine groovin rocker. Their live shows have been described as sweaty and raucous with a let it all hang out abandon. Think the Rolling Stones meet Johnny Cash meet The Pretenders.
Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Twang Dragons have been tearing up stages through the years both on their own and as openers for national acts such as Lyle Lovett, Shooter Jennings, The Blasters and Phil Vassar.
