A. I remember myself as
a child always trying to customize things and would always
love to take things to another level. I guess things are now
looking more concrete for me after I won the K-Spray international
design competition in March 2006.
Q7. Is it a big
challenge for you to continue your work in Japan? Tell me
about it.
A. From my experiences,
Japan is the most flexible market for designs as a huge number
of people have interest in it. So I doubt it will be as challenging
as other countries.
Q8. Any funny/horrible stories?
A. Hmm…Not really because
people just have one reaction! The're always so greatful!
Q9. Do you have any advice for foreigners
(and Japanese) to be an artist in Japan?
A. I think the most important
thing is to take in all kinds of inspirations, good and bad
influences, and mold your own style, always developing yourself
into something you never thought of becoming.
Q.10 What are your goals for future?
A.As much as I love to designing,
my goal isn't actually to become a designer. I want to become
an art director or a creative director for an Advertising
Agency.
Q11. What are your favorite Japanese
words?
A.フライドポテト,ギャランドゥー,
Q12. Message to WhyNot!? users!
A.I hope you all can make
it to the exhibition/launch party @ Soulblood on march 10th
2007 (sat) starting 9:00pm. It's free of charge so just come
along if you feel like having a good time because the staff
there are so generous and they make the best drinks…plus they
play mad tunes. And also, if you’re looking for a pair of
customized shoes, you will be able to purchase them there!
One love to everybody.
