A. A trip to Kyoto is always
good to make you feel like you're in traditional Japan, but
while there is snow, I would recommend a trip snowboarding!
Q7. What are you into at the moment?
A. I am into Spanish olives
and good ol' British cheese from Costco!!!!
Q8. What do you want to do in Osaka?
A. See the sights, meet
new people and tick Japan off my list of countries to visit.
Q9. What do you think of Osaka?
A. A good size for wandering around; good
shops, although sadly nothing ever fits me unless its Gap
or French Connection :( ; friendly people; loud and bustling;
and in a great location for visiting nearby towns and cities
like Kobe and Koyto.
Q10. What is your funniest moment
/ lost in translation moment in Japan?
A. The fact that on my first
day here, my housemate and I had to enter, sit-down then leave
3 separate restaurants without eating because we didn't understand
anything on the menus, nor anything that the restaurant staff
said to us nor could they understand anything we said to them!
Our own faults for being lazy and not learning any Japanese
before arriving here I guess!
Q11. What are your goals for 2006?
A. I will actually return
to the UK in August of this year and thus my goals are to
enjoy the rest of my time here in Japan, then head home and
find a job!
Q12. Where can we find you?]
A. You can find me often
around Tennoji where I live, or shopping in Shinsaibashi or
in any number of bars and clubs around Osaka!
Q13. Message to WhyNot!? users!
A. You're here for a good
time, not a long time so make the most of it and
enjoy yourselves. |
