I wondered how they keep the cold air in the dome in this hot summer.
I thought they eliminate a large amount of CO2 to keep it cool, so I checked out some Eco activities in Kyocera Dome.
Mr. Imanaka, who is a staff in the dome told me some interesting info about their Eco activities.

First, as the dome is located at the river mouth which is 5 km from Osaka bay, they have strong sea breeze.
They use this strong winds by making an air vent on the top of the dome to ventilate.
Also, they use the latest technology to control the air in the dome, and minimize the energy.
They recycle the rain, too.
The dimension of the dome is 31.400�u (I can't imagine!!), so they can collect a big amount of rainwater. They reuse the rainwater which had rainwater treatment in the tank in the basement for the toilets and plants. It's worth about 20 % of its annual water usage.
